This causes the app to not connect with the mat or turn on since the batteries aren’t connecting. The mat is suppose to be convenient but it’s actually a hassle since I have to take the cover off from one side, unzip the mat, open the battery box.take the batteries out , place them back in, close the box, place the battery box in mat, zip it close and then put the cover back on.</span>

When the mat came, it was clear it was completely defective. The buttons on the mat did NOTHING. I couldn’t even turn it off without taking the batteries out. Also, it’s NOT easy to connect the app to the mat but maybe that’s because I received a defective product. I’m 26 years old and not an idiot when it comes to technology, but the app set up is not user friendly and there’s no videos or forums online that tell you how to connect the app to the mat. The instructions don’t even tell you. The instructions themself are a JOKE. This whole product and system is trash!</span>

<span itemprop="description">I bought this and my intention was for it to help my daughter to be soothed enough to take a nap on it (relieving the need for her to sleep on someone). It certainly did not sooth her enough to be drowsy or sleep. However, she was having troubles going to the restroom if you know what I mean and it soothes her enough to assist in that manner. Any time she seems to struggle or hasn’t gone in a while, I put her on the mat and either she will go then or after her next feed. I suppose I solved one hurdle while trying to assist another.
If you use the app to operate the mat, the batteries will die by the end of the day. You need to use manual buttons on mat. Only other negative is that my daughter likes to do bicycles on it because it soothes her in that way and her feet will periodically hit the battery box and turn the mat off.
Also, if looking at other products — totally recommend to all my pregnant friends the sterilizer and formula maker — both of those are amazing products and have changed my life.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I first bought the Tranquilo mat four years ago for my nephew and now I bought one for my own baby. The first one I bought four years ago was made thicker and the sound of the vibrations were pleasant. The mat I purchased now is made with cheaper materials and you can tell the difference immediately upon opening it. The padding is so thin on the new mat that instead of the vibrations distributing across the surface like the original version you can feel it concentrated in spots where the nodes are located making it feel bumpy. Instead of the relaxing hum of the original mat the new version is loud, probably because of the thin padding, and had a high pitched ringing almost like a squeal. I’m disappointed. I would use my nephews old one but the wire came off of the battery box and no longer works.
Knowing that they’ve cheapened the product is extremely disappointing.</span>
