It's also pretty tiny so I have to steam veggies in batches. The worst thing about it is: 1. You cannot actually detach or wash the portion that does the steaming. So the best you can do is wipe it down. 2. The heating plate began rusting or corroding within days after I first used it (I've had it for less than 2 months). When you wipe the plate the paper towel I use is totally brown. That same corrosion and water is leaking through the machine and as I steam my counter becomes covered in brown liquid. The grates beneath the machine have dried brown liquid. 3. The corrosion is spreading to the electrical portion that gives it power. All of this leaking water onto electrical parts is bound to short the fuse or turn into a fire hazard. This was perfect, as I simply had to pour a small cup of water on the bottom, put a steamer tray on top and place defrosting trays with cubes of baby food. In addition, I could make boiled eggs which my family loves to eat and steam some fresh baby food that I would blend in a nutribullet baby blender machine. I am also&nbsp;able to sterilize baby bottles, pacifiers and teethers. So many ways to use this machine and super easy to take apart and clean. The only thing I would advise is to use a paper towel or soft cloth to gently wipe away the liquid or left overs that's drained from the vegetables or fruits onto the heating plate. It is very easy to stow away after use as it's relatively small in size. Excellent product that is durable and easy to use. My favorite thing about this product so far is that it can sterilize pacis and teethers. This is a game changer especially since i have two children that use a pacifier. It is quick and easy and Ican multiple at once. I also prefer to make all of my own baby food to control what my children eat. I would usually have multiple pots on the stove going but now I just use this. I cube the veggies stick them in to steam and then put them in my processor to mash them up. It is quick and easy. Clean up is easier now too and I do not have to worry about a hot stove. I then freeze the food into cubes. The other great feature about this product is that I can also warm up his food. I think this heats it up perfectly and does not get too hot like I accidentally do sometimes with the microwave. This turbo baby steamer has been perfect for my family's needs. Well I haven't had any problems with this, but after using it, I don't feel like its something that I really NEEDED. I guess in my mind I thought it would be a little different. It works well, but I've only used it once because I have been using my InstantPot to steam the veggies to where they barely need to be pureed. This steamer takes about 20ish minutes (depending on the type of fruit/vegetable) to steam and you can not fit a lot of fruits and veggies in here. I had my baby in March so began to use the steamer once he hit 6 months old and started solid food (1 month ago). I would say I used it about 5-6 times and now it's stopped working. It does not heat up nor steam. I followed all cleaning and care instructions and have no idea why a product would stop working after 2 weeks. I called Baby Bullet to discuss their 1 year warranty and I was informed it is one year from the MANUFACTURING date. So if this box happened to sit on the store shelves for months, I'm SOL. All they did was offer to knock off $10 but i would have to purchase again.
