The Babymoov Anti-UV tent will provide shelter from the sun that will help with my struggle to keep him protected from the sun's harmful rays this summer. When the Babymoov Anti-UV Tent first arrived, I quickly popped it up in my living room. My son was already a big fan! It was fun to walk in and out of, to play hide-and-seek in, and to hide his toys inside. The first thing that I noted was that it was incredibly easy to set up - a flick of the wrist was all it took. I carried it outside and quickly slipped the stakes into the loops at the bottom of the tent to secure it in place. On a side note, I really like that the tent cover has a built-in pocket to hold the stakes when not in use. In my house if it's not tied down... it's likely to be tucked away in a random cabinet by my son. The second thing I noted was that the product seemed well constructed. There were 25 mph winds on this particular day and the tent held fast. It was beneficial to align the mesh window and the tent opening with the direction of the wind to cut down on tent movement. While it performed well on this day, as would be expected, it is more enjoyable to use (and probably more feasible with younger babies) on a less windy day. Lastly, when play time was up, it was easy to pack away. The first time I do recommend saving yourself some time and frustration by watching the short YouTube video which was helpful in demonstrating how best to fold it up. We received it a few weeks ago and have used it every weekend since -- at the beach, in our backyard, and just brought it to an Easter picnic. It's so easy to unfold and assemble, and the four stakes in each corner make the tent very durable and keeps it in place, even with the wind. It's super light to carry everywhere, and our 10 month old loves playing inside, as it's very roomy for her. The one thing is that the bottom is fairly thin, so there's not much padding, and it seems to hurt her knees, as she's still crawling. So we laid out a thick blanket on the bottom for her. It does tent to get a bit hot and stuffy inside when we're in there with her, but I'm sure that's for any tent! If you have ever collapsed a photography white box, its the same concept. Once you get the hang of it, its not so bad, and I can put it away now in under a minute. First, we live by a lot of parks and even the beach, so my toddler is used to going and doing. But, when we had my daughter, we didn't want her outside exposed to the son and elements for long periods of time, but many of these places don't have adequate shade. So, the BabyMoov tent is a really easy way to give her UV protection, a safe place to play away from bugs, sand, wind, dirt, etc., but still be close to us. There are a few things that make this tent really great compared to other little pup tents we have seen or tried: 1. Lightweight: This tent is so lightweight, I hang it on a command strip clip behind my laundry door to grab fast on our way out. 2. Storage Bag: It comes in a lightweight, cleanable bag with handles. Just loop the handles over the stroller handle and you're off. 3. Vents/Breathability: This tent has a mesh front and a mesh back, so the baby will never overheat or get too hot, plus it has strong protection from UVA and UVB rays. 4. Easy to Use: It pops open. Our LO loves to play outside, it always calms him down whenever he gets fussy, but living in a bug and mosquito infested city, it's hard to play outside during the warmer months, this outdoor tent fixes that. It has a huge space on the inside where I can easily sit in there with him to play. The mesh stops all the bugs from flying around him. They're all stuck on the outside. Our tent also came with the pegs to ensure that the bottom of the tent does not fly up when it's windy. My complaints are folding up the tent again, uncushioned base, and the velcro to keep the mesh together. Folding up the tent took me a good 15-20 minutes to get it back in the carrying case. I had to watch a YouTube video over and over and finally got it. I don't know if I'll be able to close it consistently every time or if it may take some time to get it put up. Also, my LO is 9 months old and if he sits too close to the opening where the mesh is velcro'd shut, he is able to open it quite easily. I have to scoot him to the back so that he doesn't touch it. A zipper in place of the velcro would've been nice. The base of the tent also isn't very cushioned at all and there are parts of our yard that has prickly grass. This isn't that big of a deal, we just need to be sure to use a blanket for our LO to sit on while he's in there. All in all, it's a pretty good tent and does a good job. My kids (3 &amp; 1) both loved having a place to chill when they weren't off running around in the park. I loved having some instant shade in a park that didn't have a lot of shade. It made for a great place to set down my non walking little one without having to worry it was too hot, dirty or uncomfy for him. And when we were all done, it was easy for me to put it all away quickly and stow back into the bag. All in all pretty handy for a trip to the park. I can't wait to try it out at the beach.
