Baby cant lick the bars anymore or get her limps dangling through when I&rsquo;m not looking. The mesh is strong and breathable. I can&rsquo;t see baby tearing through it with her kicking strength but safe that baby can breath if her face is pressed up against it. The velcro is also strong to hold it all up together. The only thing is the instructions doesn&rsquo;t tell you to tuck the bottom border into the mattress about 1 inch. Otherwise, baby can lift it from the bottom. My husband and I tried multiple ways and were unable to make it work. The packaging also says for slated or solid back (only one end).
