Only took a few minutes to install. I can change the crib bedding without removing them, just have to tug them back in place when I am done as they tend to get pushed down.Learned the hard way to wash them separately. The mesh acts a bit like a filter in the washing machine so if you have something that sheds fuzz in the wash you will be cleaning it out of your bumper pads. Non-padded mesh liners are made of a single layer of mesh, are thin, and are highly permeable. This liner is from our Classic Collection, which is 3mm thick and the primary purpose is to help prevent entrapment. Given the liner is installed in the inside of the crib, it can serve as a thin barrier between the child and the slats/sides.
