It comes with latch straps that attach directly to the metal loops in the bottom of the seats, which is my preferred way of installing a car seat. The strap was easy to loosen and adjust (almost abnormal for a car seat base!), so this was easy to strap in and then also to move to another seat/car when the time came. Because the strap was so easy to adjust and tighten, I was able to quickly get the base to be very secure so that the car seat itself wouldn't wiggle around (a must, but worth noting because that's normally a real struggle). The versatility of the base is nice too, including some neat little clips to run other straps and seat belts through. This car seat base is surprisingly light which makes sense as the whole car seat is only 8 lb till this face is a very compatible face for that car seat. The base fits snugly and Easley into the car no problem getting it set up. I was actually able to use the latch system as well as the seat belt system as I tried it in several different makes and models of cars. Not only is it easy to install, but it's simple to carry as it's ultra light. I love the simple level indicator which is handy when installed at different vehicles. I used it at both of our family cars and it was fantastic. The quick latch system is easy to secure the belt with the latches onto the hooks. It's not a bulky design which is always nice but is on a longer side than others. It's very easy to secure the car seat to this base and very simple to unhook. Easy quick and go. Firstly, the base level on the side; there is a blue color, a green color, red color, and a white line. The white line needs to be in the blue if the baby is 4-20 lbs, in the green if the baby is 20-35 lbs and we never want the white line in the red. I think this is an awesome feature and that it is RIGHT THERE on the side, you can&rsquo;t miss it. Secondly, I love how there is a belt lock for the seat belt when installing; this provides an even sure seat rather than just the traditional belt lock on the seat belt. Thirdly, the base has a button that can lift the seat so it fits in various seats securely. You can also use a towel underneath in order to get a perfect level fit. This base has so many ways to make sure your baby is secure and safe during your travels and I sincerely appreciate it. I love everything about how easy this process is for first-time parents and how mind-blowing it is to more experienced parents. Either option of installation was easy and fast. The base stayed in place nicely and doesn't shift around. I used the anchors in my MDX and the adjustable belt allowed me to get the anchors attached and tightened without any struggle. The base also has a level meter based on the babies weight which gave me a piece of mind knowing he wouldn't be tilted too far forward.
