<span itemprop="description">You get what you pay for. This seat is cheaply made, the recline position for infants is unstable to say the least. Also, the latch system belt in the rear facing position is too short; I have a Honda Pilot and it wouldn't work. While it has to hold up to federal standards to be on the market, it's my feeling this is a bare minimum passing as far as safety is concerned. Bought it two hours ago, and am already taking it back to the store. With soon to be four kids, I can't spend a fortune on a car seat, but I will definitely spend more than the 100 I just did if it means my kid survives a car accident, which seems unlikely in this car seat. It might work for older toddlers, but I don't trust it for my newest addition.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I bought 2 of these car seats for my grandchildren in April. Mine didn't come with the easy latch system for some reason. I can't unlatch these myself. Have to have my husband do it and he says it's very hard. Also hard to level and get tight enough in rear facing mode. I've read the manual over and over to see if I was doing something wrong. Also looked online for tips. We took these on a trip recently and my daughter ( the mom) said these seats are awful! I can't disagree.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Purchased as a secondary carseat, not primary use. Was appealing that the seat was rated for tiny guys up to toddler/preschool size. We didn't use this until our baby was 3 mos. I cannot imagine having a tiny newborn in it as it is huge and takes up a lot of car space. We are using it rear facing and it works well. We had an older child try it forward facing and reports comfort as well. Great convertible seat, especially as a catch all secondary back up seat. This will be the primary seat once our baby is forward facing (or so is the plan).</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this seat for a while. It was given to me through a program that helps low income families with car seats that are in need of assistance. My son is 11 months old, 19 pounds and 28 and a half inches tall. He is a tiny guy.
First, installing the seat was pretty straight forward. I drive a PT Cruiser so it's a small car. It fits well in the middle seat, but sometimes my niece rides with me in her infant carrier, so the car seat needs to be moved to the side for them to fit in backseat properly and the front seat needs to be moved forward a lot and be set almost straight up in order to not interfere with this car seat. I also struggled to get the seat tight enough. I really had to work to get the latch pulled tight enough for me to feel safe about using it. In the end I find I had to fold the front seat down and get behind the seat to push and pull on the strap. Because of the tightness it was nearly impossible for me to loosen the latch on it when I had to move the seat again. I received the one with no button. I just have to kind of pull on the black thing and push it towards the latch until it finally gives some slack. (No, it wasn't over tightened either, it still moved about half an inch from side to side at the belt line.)
So, my son hates all car seats. This one is no different. I love the padding. I love the colors. I don't like the crotch snap. I have to push really hard to get the left buckle to snap in. I don't like the straps. If I am not extremely careful, they bite into his neck. I have to make sure to pull his shirt up between the strap and his neck and sometimes have to pull over and fix it as I am driving and he is screaming. I also have great dislike for the head pillow. It's not firm, it's floppy. With my son being small, his head doesn't really reach the sides to lean against them if he falls asleep and as a result, his head kind of falls onto his shoulder and slightly forward making me need to pull over and place a receiving blanket under his head to keep it in safer place. Also because he is so small we do use the other insert as well to keep him from sliding around but he still drifts over to the side instead of sitting upright, though he can sit up on his own for a long period of time. I wish the sides of both the pillow and bottom insert were thicker to keep him more in place. I don't really feel safe with him in this car seat yet and I can only imagine what it would be like to have a baby 5lbs in it.
I don't think I would recommend this car seat for a smaller child like my son. While I like that this car seat gives him a lot of room to grow, I actually expect it will expire before he out grows it which is fairly disappointing. While there is no money lost for me since it was given to me, I will be notifying the people who did so that they know as they distribute to other small infants.</span>

<span itemprop="description">We just bought this car seat and looks and works great. My only complaint is the width of the seat. I have a 2015 Durango and have two infant seats for my nieces, side by side. This one is more wide than the other; makes it hard to put them side by side but not impossible. They fit but now they are squeezed in and pushed against the car door.
This seat is fine for first time parents and easy to install without any further gadgets.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I originally bought a different car seat. I found that the original one was not a good fit for my son. I researched some more seats and found this one. Baby boy is excited when we get in the car to go somewhere, he loves his seat. I feel better as a mom knowing he is in a very safe seat!</span>

Le SureRide est un si&egrave;ge-auto convertible pouvant &ecirc;tre utilis&eacute; face &agrave; l'arri&egrave;re de 5 &agrave; 40 livres, puis &agrave; l'avant de 22 &agrave; 65 livres. Il ne se convertit pas en mode de rappel.

Yes it is. I took both of my kids seats on Porter. It takes a bit to get them buckled in but it is totally worth it! I was complimented by the staff for bringing them on board. The kids were safer because they were buckled in and I was happier because I was not fighting with them to leave their seatbelts fastened!
