My daughter is three years old and was very excited to get this out of the package and start playing. The accessories that come with the purse seem to be geared toward smaller children. The &ldquo;key ring&rdquo; has the crinkle fabric that babies love to grab and squeeze, the bracelet and &ldquo;sunglasses&rdquo; are rubbery and perfect for tethers or small children who are still putting toys in their mouths. The sunglasses are not actually functional. The little cell phone doesn&rsquo;t have buttons or sound but is actually a rattle. My daughter was excited to carry her purse around and pose with her phone as if she were taking selfies. She enjoyed taking the items in and out of her purse, but the accessories have little play value for a 36 month old other than as items to fill the purse. My daughter did not seem very interested in pressing the buttons on the purse after she initially heard the letters, numbers, and few phrases. My two year old son was more curious about the purse accessories than my three year old daughter, and he got more enjoyment out of pressing the buttons on the purse. I believe this is a great first purse to grow with for a younger child who still enjoys simpler toys such as mirrors, teethers, and rattles. The purse was bright and colorful and caught baby's attention right away. The item was simple enough to remove from its packaging but, without scissors nearby, it would have needed to be torn apart just to remove all of the items. Once opened, baby was curious about each item. The purse seemed to hold her attention the least, but she did like the bright lights and the music. Her favorite items seemed to be the mirror and the cell phone. The mirror fit easily in her hand and was lightweight and easy to hold. She liked looking at her reflection. The phone was appealing to her due to the beads inside that she could shake and hear the noise. The sunglasses seemed a bit pointless, as there was not much for baby to do with them functionally, but it was nice that they were rubber and could bend without breaking. The key chain didn't seem to catch her notice at all because she was too preoccupied with the other items. My biggest criticism for improvement would be to make the bottom of the purse stiff or flat so that it could stand up or stay open for baby to put items inside and take them out with more ease. At 11 months old, it was a bit difficult to try and hold the purse open while also trying to put items in or take them out.
