Even my older kiddos love to sing the alphabet and find the correct letters. It is a little hard to hold as the plastic slips through the hand and kind of large but on the floor my littles like it. There is a roller ball that my two year old loves to spin on it and finds entertaining. I like that there is a loud and quiet for volume options. My daughter rocks her swing while my son dance around in a circle. My son snuggle with the slot and sleeps on the otter to hide it from the other kids. I love how when you push the button to hear each letter, however I notice if you click a and click the letter B it will make the sound for the letter B. I love the bright color it catches their attention everytime, so that's a plus. My twin 11 month-olds are a little young for that yet, but they enjoy pushing the buttons and listening to the sounds and watching the lights. My 4 and 6 year-olds like to steal this toy, too. I think this will be a lot of fun in the future when the twins can play the &quot;find the letter&quot; game. It is a great toy when it is used alone or paired with another. We paired the Otter with the hedgehog. Right away my kids 15m 3.5 &amp; 5 were very curious because we had the hedgehog out of the box while the otter was talking and sealed in another box still. Once opened they had fun all playing together interacting back and forth. My Oldest was showing the letters to the littlest 2 while listening to what the otter was saying. The other nice thing about the otter is the pictures with each letter aren't all your traditional a-z pictures. She will sit there and push the buttons imitating the noises. It took her a little bit to get the hang of how to push the buttons but now that she&rsquo;s a pro she likes to sit there and push her favorite one, the elephant. She loves snuggling things so I think she loves this toy because it&rsquo;s shaped like an otter. If she&rsquo;s not pushing it&rsquo;s buttons, then she&rsquo;s hugging it.
