This monitor has a slight (2-3 second) delay but it has a clear picture that you can adjust from your device and it gives you notifications on movement &amp; crying. Multiple people can connect their device to the monitor (i.e. mom, dad, grandma...) to check on the baby throughout the day or if he/she is being babysat. You can be away from your baby and check on him/her from the app on your phone while out to dinner, etc. You can also watch the video feed live or go back and watch what you missed while away from your little one as it constantly records. These are all features that you can adjust through the app, same with the notifications too. What the subscription does is to extend cloud storage of recorded videos. In the free plan, only videos in the last 4 hours are retained.
