I have to say I wasn&rsquo;t crazy about all the different parts to the bottle but they are all there for good reason. I really did like how you can sterilize the bottle in the microwave with just water and the bottle itself. That was a plus for me! It has a spill-proof lid, the symmetric MAM shape nipple, a silicone piece that goes in the base. The base has ventilation holes to regulate the pressure balance in the bottle to help reduce/eliminate bubbles and foaming, which also helps reduce gas, burping and spit-up. This is the perfect bottle if you have a baby with colic or gas issues! Also, we didn&rsquo;t breastfeed long so I just went with the bottle brand I used with my son (mostly because those were the only ones I had) but MAM is designed to make switching between breastfeeding and bottle feeding much easier. He has a revised posterior tongue-tie and lip-tie and direct breast feeding wasn't an option for us, so I exclusively pump. As a result, I spend a lot of time cleaning bottles and pump parts. This MAM bottle has a wide neck for sponge cleaning without a special bottle brush and can be completely disassembled for even easier cleaning. What really sets this bottle apart is the magnificent self-sterilization feature. It's super easy. No boiling or steam bags required; just reconfigure the bottle with a little water in the base and pop it in the microwave. Amazing! What gets under my skin most as stay at home mom isn't the exploding diapers, or never being able to take a shower uninterrupted, it's the constant washing of bottle and pump parts. This bottle takes some of that work off your plate. I'm a speech-language pathologist, and I spend a lot of time working with patients on feeding and swallowing. Though I primarily work with adults, I have some limited pediatric (NICU) training and I know the importance a nipple can play in creating a successful feeding experience, which sets the tone for feeding and nutrition throughout childhood. I received this bottle as part of a weeSpring parent panel trial and it came with a level one slow-flow nipple, which is exactly what I would recommend for a preemie or newborn. It took my 5 month old a little longer than usual to finish his meal, but he typically uses a nipple with a faster flow rate. I saw no nipple collapse, even with my baby having to work a little harder than he's used to. I was actually quite pleased to see that he slowed down, as in my experience slow-flow nipples are often unreliable and may deliver more milk than the baby can handle, which can cause feeding disorders down the line. This nipple is orthodontic in shape and mimics the shape the breast takes in the baby's mouth. Babies rely on suction and compression to extract milk and silicone doesn't compress in quite the same way a breast does. This nipple makes stripping milk more similar to breastfeeding. That said, I mentioned my baby's lip-tie earlier and he had difficulty flanging his lips out for a proper latch. It's part of what made breastfeeding a challenge for us. So while this nipple shape isn't right for my little one, for a typical infant it may be ideal. I generally feed my baby with a bottle that has a vacuum free vent system. While I noticed more bubbling in his milk that we're used to with his regular bottles, he didn't seem bothered by it. The air in his milk was significantly less than with the unvented bottles we've used in the past and I was able to completely tighten the nipple without hearing constant air exchange any time I removed the bottle from his mouth. With an unvented bottle I have to constantly take breaks to allow the pressure to even out. Having 2 kids and managing them both is difficult and you always look for stuff that saves you time, even if it is a couple of minutes. When weeSpring Parent Panel sent me this Mam Baby bottle as a test sample, I couldnt have been happier, due to the following reasons: 1. It apart completely and all the pieces are easily cleanable. No more struggling with unreachable nooks and corners. 2. The sterilization process is as simple as pouring some water and microwaving it for a minute. No extra machines or containers to bother with 3. The vents at the bottom provide perfect air flow without any blockages. Most other bottles I have used have a vent system in the nipple which just doesn't work if the bottle is more than half full. No more fidgeting with the angle at which the bottle should be or the nipple. He also burps much faster now(may be due to the bottle?) which saves me that much extra time. 4. The nipple has a unique shape and my son immediately took to it. When using this bottle, the total feeding lifecycle - from cleaning and sterilization to feeding and finally burping had been reduced to half. Now that we tried the MAM anti-colic bottle we have another one to use! I love the flat design of the nipple, my son took to it right away as it just seemed to fit his latch perfectly. I wish I would&rsquo;ve tried it earlier to see if the anti-colic helped my son&rsquo;s gas but he has outgrown most of his tummy issues. The idea behind the self-sanitizing is great; however, it added another part that needs to be cleaned and can leak. I found that the bottle often leaked out of the bottom as well as the top unless a super tight and accurate alignment was made which is difficult when you are rushing to feed a hungry baby! Also, the bottom piece made the bottle heavy. My son likes to be independent and the weight of the bottle made it difficult for him to hold himself. Another thing I found slightly odd was the fact that there was no line to indicate one ounce which could be difficult for gaging how much a baby has eaten. Overall, I&rsquo;m glad weeSpring sent me the bottle to try. Not only have we tried several different bottle brands but we&rsquo;ve also tried different formulas as well as an elimination diet for myself to breast-feed and nothing has worked thus far. He latched right on to the nipple and sucked this bottle down with minimal air intake. He has had no spit up after feedings and seems much more happy with less gas. I was at first discouraged given there are several parts to this bottle however to my surprise it was very easy to put together and it&rsquo;s also very easy to sterilize. This has made for one happy baby which means happy mommy! This bottle has a good grip and easily allows the milk to flow through the nipple. The nipple is soft and realistic, mimicking the feel of a breast to easily allow you to switch between breast and bottle feedings. It also reduces gas, burps and spit ups. I love that there are measurement ticks so you can measure the amount of milk in the feedings. My son easily accepted the bottle without any fuss or crying. We are so glad this one works for works for him because it has been quite a journey to find the right bottle! This unique bottle unscrews at the bottom making clean-up a breeze! No sterilizer is needed. Simply microwave or pop it in the dishwasher. The image of the mom bear and cub adds a sweet and special touch. I dreaded the idea of embarking upon the Great Bottle Search of 2019- I could just picture myself wandering the aisle of the baby store or the deep dark corners of the internet seeking just the *right* bottle. About that time, I received this MAM bottle from the weeSpring Parent Panel - perfect timing. I was incredibly excited to discover that the MAM Anti-Colic bottle works great for our little guy. The best thing about the bottle is the shape of the nipple- it fits his mouth just right. With other bottles, he flattens or folds the nipples in his mouth and gets frustrated trying to get milk and it ends up all over the place. He has a tendency to try to eat super fast sometimes (and cough or spit up later because of it) so the vent system is great to balance out him getting enough milk smoothly but not too much too quickly. My only small issue is there are a lot of parts to the bottle but that also makes it easier to clean thoroughly and dry quickly if I need to fill up the bottle again right away. However, that didn&rsquo;t bother me enough to keep me from ordering 5 more. I was asked to try it and give my honest feedback. Obviously my opinion matters, but my daughter&rsquo;s is the one that really counts and she is a happy girl! She took the bottle like a champ! The bottle is only 5 oz which works for us because she really isn&rsquo;t taking more than that at a time. It&rsquo;s also super easy to clean since the top and bottom unscrew. The nipple is also more of a natural look as well. We&rsquo;re definitely a Dr. Brown&rsquo;s household, but we&rsquo;ll be buying more MAM bottles now. I have tried many different brands of bottles and my daughter hated all of them. She would cough, gag, and cry when we tried to feed her with any of them. This really caused me to struggle with nursing her and having the energy to pump so my husband could bottle feed her. I felt so discouraged and I didn't know what to do until I received a free sample of the MAM bottle from my baby registry. To my surprise my daughter absolutely loved the MAM bottle. She started taking from the bottle allowing my husband to feed her. She continued to nurse and bottle feed with no issues and no confusion between the two. Just as MAM states the vented base ensured even milk flow to help reduce them from swallowing air that may cause gas, colic or burps. My daughter&rsquo;s fussiness and gas completely went away and I no longer needed to use gripe water and gas drops. I just received a sample bottle from weeSpring Parent Panel and I decided to try this bottle with my other daughter. She is 1.5 and still drinks cow's milk from bottles. I was not surprised at all when my daughter took a liking to this bottle. She now points to this bottle when she goes down for a nap and smiles when I grab it for her. I love how easy this bottle is to take apart and that I can put it in my dishwasher to sanitize. This bottle has a nice shape to it and I love that it has cute little bears and paw prints on it making it a very gender-neutral bottle. It has very easy to read numbers for the ounces and mL. This bottle is very durable and not flimsy like some of the other bottles I have tried. I absolutely love this bottle and so do my daughters. I would highly recommend the MAM bottle to all mother's, whether they are bottle feeding with formula or breastmilk. How will I ever leave my baby?!&quot; It was such a stressful experience, and now as I prepare to return to work for the third time, I definitely want the transition for my son to be seamless. I'm so happy to say that thanks to the #MAMBaby anti-colic bottle, I have confidence this time! These bottles make switching from breast to bottle seamless, because they have a super soft nipple that mimics the real deal. In fact, the first time my husband fed my son using this bottle, I was in complete shock because it was as though nothing was different! My son never chokes or spits up because the flow is just right, and the bottom has a gasket that vents air to help reduce excess gas from being swallowed. The last thing I want is for him to be fussy and uncomfortable while I'm away! Let's be real though, my least favorite thing about bottles is cleaning all the parts. I'm busy, my counter space is limited, and those bottle brushes are the equivalent of a bacteria trapping kitchen sponge. Yuck! Surprisingly enough, these MAM bottles are a breeze to clean! They come apart completely which is a time saver, because I can fit them in the dishwasher or easily wash them with my pump parts after work. When I'm really pinched for time, I use the sterilizing feature to quickly sterilize them in the microwave. I love that I don't have to use a bottle brush, and I can easily see that the bottles are clean. All of this means I know my son will be content while I'm at work, happy when I get home, and I'll have some extra time for all those sweet little snuggles! MAM for the win! I don't use bottles often as my baby is breastfed, but there are a few nights when I give her one so that my fiance and I are able to go out every once in a while. Normally we use a different brand but I've heard a lot about MAM bottles being great for breastfed babies due to the textured nipple so I figured why not give it a try. She instantly took the nipple without any fuss or pushing away. The flow was a little fast for me personally, she seemed to gulp the milk a lot. From my search they don't have a preemie paced nipple so that in my opinion is probably the only downfall to the bottles. I loved that the lid doubled as a measuring cup and you can use it to measure the water for the self sterilizing function. Sterilizing was quick and easy and it didn't take long for the bottle to cool down afterwards. This MAM baby anti colic bottle definitely helps! There are so many anti colic bottles on the market that are so difficult to clean. This bottle has that problem solved. All you have to do is put some water in it, move the nipple to the bottom, and pop into the microwave to sterilize. To clean it the bottle comes apart in large easy to clean pieces! Problem solved. A lot of other bottles I have tried drip milk all over my little one as she&rsquo;s drinking. I didn&rsquo;t have any problems with this happening at all. My gassy and colicky little one didn&rsquo;t seem to have any distress after drinking out of this bottle. The shape of the nipples seems to be a good match for her and the size of the bottle is good for her little hands to hold onto (which she wants to do more and more as she grows!) I received this bottle as part of the @weespring parent panel to test. This bottle is wonderful! I had already had a few bottle brands that I liked that also fit into my breast pump, so I just went with purchasing those. To my surprise upon trying the MAM bottle, this also fits the pump. This alone is amazing because there are very few bottles at this time that are compatible. At first glance, I was intrigued that the bottom of the bottle unscrews. This is a vent that helps the flow of the milk. Since baby #2 has reflux, the properties of this bottle are wonderful for us because it is even more important to decrease the amount of air that gets into her tummy. This keeps her more comfortable and also decreases her spit ups. The bottle nipple is probably my favorite part. Compared to the bottle we have been attempting to use (she is only a few weeks old), she has not taken to them easily. Even when she eventually takes the other bottles, we have experienced some resistance and crying before she takes it, which in turn, causes air to get into her belly. This flat top, textured MAM nipple is perfect. She took it immediately! This was the first time we have been able to give her a bottle that she immediately took. The only thing that I noticed, which could just be due to her young age is that every few minutes I did have to pause and wipe her mouth because some milk would come out. This could be due to her sucking too strong, or maybe the milk was coming out a little faster than she is used to compared to the breast. Either way, this should improve as she gets older. The quality of the bottle seems great and there are not a million parts to figure out compared to other brands. I am so glad weeSpring sent me this bottle to try as part of their Parent Panel. For my first child we used a popular brand that uses natural glass bottles and my son really loved them so of course we tried them with our daughter. She took the bottle but it was a struggle and she would spit up and did appear to have reflux. When we received the MAM anti-colic bottle from the Wee Spring Parent Panel . I was excited but didn&rsquo;t expect my daughter to take to it. Boy was I wrong. She drank it without much coaxing . We were very excited. My husband and I are convinced it&rsquo;s the nipple of the bottle that really sold it for her. The bottle comes with a size 1 nipple. It&rsquo;s made from skin soft silicone, BPA &amp; BPS Free , and the shape of the nipple creates a vacuum to eliminate bubbles . The flow is a little fast but I have a fast letdown when I feed her so I&rsquo;m guessing that&rsquo;s why she liked it so much. It reminded her of me. We also noticed a decrease in her spitting up. She definitely latched on to the bottle. So we believe that the bottle is actually helping to keep her reflux at bay. Personally my favorite thing about this product is the sterilization process of the bottle. A little water in the base of the bottle and pop it in the microwave for 2-3 minutes and boom it&rsquo;s ready. I absolutely love how quick and easy that process turned out . The only con I see is that it doesn&rsquo;t come in a glass bottle. But we love the nipple, the ease of sterilization, and that it helped with her reflux. As a first-time mother, finding a bottle that my son will actually nurse from when he is exclusively breastfed has been an adventure. Other brands' bottles either release the milk too slowly or my son outright dislikes the texture (feel) or shape of the nipple. When I received this particular bottle in the mail, I had just about given up on searching for a bottle that my son would actual feed from. The MAM bottle worked quite well for us. The bottle's anti-colic features really made a difference in the amount of gas and stomach troubles my son had post-feeding. The bottle also held the temperature of the milk for a prolonged period of time. I take breaks every few minutes when bottle feeding my son to help him pace himself and to prevent spitting up as he has a tendency to do if he feeds to quickly. Also, I noticed that my son was able to latch well to the nipple of this bottle despite his slight tongue tie. However, I would note that the six parts of the bottle became a bit cumbersome to clean by hand after each feeding. Additionally, the nipple did release or drip the milk more quickly than my son normally paces himself to feed. Overall, the MAM Anti-Colic was a great bottle and I would definitely recommend it to other mothers and babies for their bottle feeding needs.
