My daughter is teething and these are perfect for her. She likes the rubber they are made of. She puts it in the corner of her mouth to chew on. The handles on them make it easy for her to grip. She spit it out as soon as she put it in her mouth. I think the the nipple was too big for her mouth because she kept gagging on it. I do however think that as she grows it will be perfect as my baby is exclusively breastfed and does not care too much for the typical round shaped pacifiers. My daughter loved them and was more interested in exploring it and playing with it that using it as a pacifier. When the lights went out for bedtime and she had her Paci she would play with and laugh. The times she actually used it as a Paci it helped to put her to sleep. Even off brand orthopedic pacifiers wont work. I was worried when I learned Nuk was changing their pacifiers, but my little girl took these no problem. The faceplate seems to cut into her face less than the old ones and the nipple is slimmer. I also noticed less water getting in the nipple with washing. The glow in the dark feature is nice and works well for pacifier hunting at night. The designs are cute! I am especially happy with the carrying/sanitizing case. This makes cleaning a breeze.
