I have to say I love this product. Yes, the company did reach out for a review, but honestly I should of left one 2.5years ago when I first started using these baby monitors, since I enjoyed them so much I went back for another and till this day am still using them. Even recently when my family contacted covid and I was obviously worried about my daughter, every night I put the sock on her to make sure her oxygen levels were good, made me feel like she was safe and sound while she slept (just like when she was a newborn,) because I was genuinely scared for her health. Few deciding factors when I purchased, -dad and I could both be logged in from different phones. -amazing WIDE VIEW -amazingly clear video at night And since we bought them they have updated so much and we just keep loving these more. Some updates we really enjoyed -you can leave the app open in the background with sound, while I do whatever on my phone. -you can close the app completely and set it up to where you will get an alert if there is motion or sound (kinda like ring security cameras, but for your baby) I&rsquo;m sure I&rsquo;m leaving features out but like I mentioned my daughter is 2 1/2 now and I don&rsquo;t use the sock like I used too. I do still use both of the cameras daily. One above her bed and one in her playroom (the wide angle let&rsquo;s me see the entire room. The main thing I find with this product is the lack of a homebase screen and all videos and stats have to be obtained via the app on your phone which if I am in bed sleeping I dont think to look at my phone open the app to see what is happening in my babies room, there is also a significant delay from movement/noise to app notifications and the video stream is also quite behind real time. We love it. It was easy to set up on both an android and apple phone. We love that we can both monitor our daughter even if one of us is away or out for the evening etc. The sock is amazing and works really well. I love the reassurance of being able to check her breathing and oxygen levels and definitely think it helps me get more sleep than I would do without it. Once you get used to putting the sock on its straightforward and easy to use. The camera image is super clear even at night. The only issue I have is that sometimes the camera loses signal and cuts out although the sock maintains the connection so at least I can still tell she is OK from that. Camera tends to come back fairly quickly or if I restart the app but it would be good to not be to do that. The product comes well packaged and the overall quality is very good. Both the camera and the sock are easy to set up once you have downloaded the owlet app. Once set up I tested the camera quality in both daytime and nighttime and found that the quality was very good and very clear in both settings. The audio feedback was also very clear and could hear all background sounds. There is a slight lag on the feedback of both camera and sound but this is only about 1 or 2 seconds which is ok with me. The camera also monitors the temperature of the room your baby is in so you know if the baby is comfortable throughout the night. The sock comes in two different sizes and in both left and right foot which allows you to swap feet to give each foot a break and while you wash the previously used sock. The sock is made from a very soft material which is also good on the babies skin. The sock gives you accurate feedback of your babies heart rate and oxygen levels which if any of these go outside of the normal levels you get alerted through the app and also the sock docking station which you would keep at your bedside. The camera also has a 2 way audio feature so you can also talk to the baby from wherever you are but sadly this audio quality is not that good and does sound crackly. I didn't have any problems with internet / wi-fi connection however it came up with a message that my password was exposed and it's advisable to have it changed urgently. I am not sure of this was something to do with the Owlet app but was slightly worrying. The sock I made of a soft stretchy material and wraps around little feet gently. It didn't give me any fake alarms which is great and as a bundle paired with camera it allowed me to have some good night sleep. It&rsquo;s the way all products should come! So first impressions alone I was eagerly anticipating getting this up and running. So setting up is a breeze. Download the app and follow the on screen instructions. Simple as that. So far so good. I got everything connected and everything talking. Happy. Now let&rsquo;s start with the sock. I&rsquo;m possibly in the absolute minority hear but my boy just wasn&rsquo;t happy with the sock on. Why exactly I don&rsquo;t know but I guess every baby is different. In short it wasn&rsquo;t on long enough for me to say one way or the other if it&rsquo;s good. The majority of reviews suggest it is and the technology behind it backs that up. Such a shame. So that pretty much leaves the camera. Again we got off to a great start. Connection was good, picture was clear. We had options to change the image quality, options to turn off the status light (which is pretty bright) and options to keep the sound on in the background like a monitor once the app is closed/minimised. So I could see baby, what baby and also see the temperature of the room. Happy days. However not long using it the connection drops. It then persistently drops in and out which is obviously far from ideal. Our WiFi is pretty decent but it would appear it needs to be top of the range to get this working with any sort of consistency. Again such a shame. Overall I wanted to love this product. The app is good, the packaging is great and the product itself is decent. It&rsquo;s simple to use and manoeuvre once it&rsquo;s set up (set up it&rsquo;s self was quite dificult but only needs doing once) and connected to my devices. It gives a live stream constantly and ensures the room temperature as well as lots of other things are displayed. It&rsquo;s clear view and two way talk option are both great things two. The only down side I&rsquo;ve found is that there is a 4-5 second delay in the streaming but this may be down to my internet or signal in my home. The plastic self adhesive trunking that comes with it is absolutely game changing for safety. I love the camera and love the monitoring sock for baby too. As first time parents, I can't stress enough how reassuring it is to be able to see your baby clearly and to have a sock that will alert you if something is wrong. The picture is so clear from the camera that I can peak at my baby and see her chest rise and fall. I don't get any false camera notifications, I am only notified if she is moving or making noise.
