<span itemprop="description">The Owlet Duo has been the worst and one of the most expensive purchases I made as a new mom. I purchased the sock and monitor duo when my daughter was born. We never used the sock so I can't comment on that other than we weren't as nervous as we imagined we'd be about her breathing stopping in the middle of the night so we should have only purchased the monitor to begin with; however, the monitor is terrible! If you're looking for a reliable product this isn't it. I've used it at my home, and on two homes we vacationed in and getting it set up is a crapshoot. It freezes which I'd find out while looking at my sleeping baby on the app, but hearing her wail from another room. Then to get it reconnected to WIFI is super frustrating. You have to have it plugged in where you'll be using it which is generally near your sleeping baby. Pairing it is necessary each time it's unplugged. To do so the monitor says LOUDLY "ready to pair!". Then you have to scan your phone, which automatically turns your phone to as bright as possible- again, likely while your baby is sleeping- only to sometimes have it not connect. After a few frustrating months I bought another monitor- which has been wonderful. I wanted to sell this Owlet on Ebay since I spent so much on it and technically it isn't "broken" but my conscience won't let me do that to another parent. </span>

<span itemprop="description">We bought the duo during the first trimester and have now been using it for nearly a month. The sock really lets us relax when our baby is sleeping and we find ourselves constantly checking on her if we forgot to put it on her for a nap. The camera works great and has great video quality. During installation, I did have a bit of trouble getting the wire guards to stick well to our very textured walls; I ended up using a command strip and everything has been holding excellent since. The app integrating the sock information, audio, temperature, and video provides a great dashboard for us to keep an eye on the baby. The Owlet sock was recommended to us by a friend and I recommend the monitor duo to our friends who are pregnant.</span>

We didn’t use it for the first three weeks because I hadn’t set it up yet, and let me tell you... the day we used it I instantly fell in love and regretted not using it three weeks prior! We slept all night long!! ALL NIGHT YOU GUYS! I love the app and the fact that I can track my little girl’s readings and patterns. The camera is also amazing, it even tells you if the room is the perfect temperature or not! If you are going to get ONE thing for your newborn, make it this! I can’t recommend it enough to friends and family.y sister is about to have her first, and this is what we got her because we swear by it. Why not get something to make life easier and sleep better?! <span itemprop="description">We had the Owlet for about two weeks, overall it seems to be a good product with the potential to become even better. It would have been amazing during infacy!
The packaging is appealing and the hardware has got quality written all over it.
The camera is a pleasant surprise even though the livestream has a slight delay. I wish there was a way to turn the camera on/off both on the device and in the app without unplugging.
It would have been nice to be able to use the base unit completely wireless for car rides and in the stroller.
I am also missing a battery saving standby feature on the sock. If fully charged in the morning and then left unused until bedtime the battery will run out during the night.
Unfortunately the sock does not register when the child wakes up.
In an improved version of the sock I would appreciate a greater circumference for wide feet toddlers and also better cleaning possibilities for the sensor part.</span>

Prior to having the duo set up, I couldn't sleep and kept worrying about baby (it's our first). However, once we got the monitor and app set up - it was a game changer and I got some sleep. Plus you can look in on your kiddo at any time from any where on your phone. We highly recommend this product to any new parent(s)/caretaker and seasoned parent(s). It is expensive which is one area I wish was different, as it does exclude many people from benefiting from it. If you can swing the cost or even add it to your registry and let people contribute towards it, I think it is worth it.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Nu när det börjar luta mot varmare väder så vill man ha koll på bebis som sover inomhus och samtidigt kunna sätta sig ute på altanen utan att behöva springa in och kontrollera bebisen hela tiden.
Denna monitorn är ju helt perfekt för det! Bara en kamera är inte tillräcklig enligt mitt tycke, absolut att man kan se om bebis är vaken och höra bebis om man endast har en kamera men man vill ju kontrollera andningen vilket är svårt att göra om man endast har en kamera.
Med denna produkt känner vi oss väldigt säkra och kan sitta ute på altanen med gott samvete utan att oroa oss för bebisen hela tiden! Det var lite dålig ljud kvalitet men den har så mycket andra bra funktioner som väger upp mot det.</span>

<span itemprop="description">First of all, this is a definitely a MUST HAVE for newborns. I bought both the Sock Sensor and the Camera. I’m in love with both. The Sock gives me an extra feeling of security, I can see my baby’s heartbeat and that he is breathing. Definitely the best item I have bought since my pregnancy.</span>

I bought devices in my 2nd trimester and I've been extremely pleased with my purchase. We've had nothing but great experience with Owlet I love all the features that it provides. I get an alert if anything changes in my sons heart rate or oxygen levels with the sock, and any sound & movement my son makes with monitor. I highly recommend it, gives us peace of mind and goodnight rest.</span>

We can sleep so much better knowing our baby is being monitored and the owlet app will alert us of any movement or if oxygen or heart rate is abnormal. Helps gives us a price of mind knowing our baby can sleep more soundly and so can we.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I bought the duo about a month ago for our 4th child. With having multiple kids, we had a good idea of what we were looking for in a product.
1. We wanted something to monitor the baby's movement. For our first 3 kids, we went with Angel Care which had sensors you place under the mattress. Our kids were all small to start (6 lbs and under) so we ran into issues with false alarms because the sensors couldn't pick up our kids movement. With the Owlett ,once we got the sock placement down (which took a couple nights to get it right), there were no false alarms.
2. Price wise, the initial cost seemed a bit high, but the fact that it was HSA/FSA eligible helped us save a bit.
3. The app was very user friendly and can be accessed from anywhere. This is a nice feature when compared with the standalone handheld receivers.
Overall a great product that I would highly recommend.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Innan man fick hem Owlet-strumpan var jag definitivt lite skeptisk, men produkten har redan testats av andra föräldrar och fått bra betyg så det kändes definitivt värt att prova.
Vi testar den på vår förstfödda och kan säga att den har givit mig och min fru väldigt mycket sinnesfrid.
Installation = BUSENKEL
Design = stilren kamera, strumpan är ganska neutral färg.
Användning = lite övning krävs, lite felmeddelanden i början. Men man får kläm på det fort. Har man lagt strumpan fel visas det tydligt.
Gör dig själv en tjänst och läs alla instruktioner och börja använda strumpan direkt. Är man lite orolig av sig så hjälper denna strumpa markant. Det är vårt första barn så man är lite extra orolig, men man kan se puls och syrenivåer i realtid. Jag är en person som gillar att mäta puls och liknande för mig själv så detta kändes lite naturligt för mig. Produkten kostar lite, men det är ett väldig litet pris att ge för att ha koll på bebisens välmående och sömnkvalitet.
Kameran har superbra kvalitet och jag gillar funktionen att man kan prata med barnet via telefonen. Nattläget är också jättebra, lite förvånansvärt bra. Wifi signalen är alltid stark, bor i lägenhet så det kanske beror på det.
Kan varmt rekommenderas!</span>

<span itemprop="description">We started using this when our little one was about a month old as he was quite small otherwise and it has been fantastic. During our middle of the night diaper changes and wiggles, the base will flash a yellow color and play a tune that allows us to know the sock is not placed correctly, just a warning rather than a full out alarm. Pretty genius. Any other time I want to know how he is doing, I can simply peek in on my app and see his heart rate and O2 saturation. I am a medical professional and I know several moms who have learned of underlying medical conditions their infants had with the aid of this smart sock which is pretty amazing. This owlet is pricey but certainly worth the peace of mind this brings, especially to new parents. We love our owlet!</span>
