I’ll start by saying that this car seat is VERY lightweight which is nice. However, there is NO padding in it at all. It’s just a thin cover over some hard plastic. Also, there’s no handle grip at all either which is very disappointing. If I could go back, I would have spent a little more and gotten a better car seat!</span>

I love how light this unit is, and the fabric is so nice and will clean easily. My only complaint about this is the handle does not have a grip like the other snugride infant seats.</span>

Hi there, thanks for reaching out! the SnugRide 35 Lite LX Infant Car Seat has a model number sticker underneath it with a date of manufacture on it. Also, once you see the date, 7 years after, it expires. Hope this helps!
