Be cautious of the plug! We've used it from newborn-4 months. The seat is ok, but we prefer the Angelcare baby bath support seat and luckily it fits into this bath tub. That seems to be the best of both worlds for bath time. I dont like the support design with the nubby part at the bottom that would be betwen baby's legs. For my boy, he slides down and it seems to squish His parts and he doesn't seem that comfortable. The support also cannot be secured in the tub. My baby tends to kick and push so the support moves back with him. The support also does not fit in or on a standard sink well. You'd need a very wide or farmhouse style sink to use it in a sink. I admit I was nervous about bathing at the beginning, so we co-bathed until she could somewhat sit. I love the blue riser that comes with this as I use it when I bath her. It is just the right height for me to then use the toilet as a seat, so I am comfortable, relaxed and hand-ons while I bath my daughter. I love the pull plug in the tub too, as it is easy to just pull and walk away to go dress my daughter. The curve in the design is perfect because it was an easy grip for my daughter to hold when she was learning to sit on her own. The pad the comes with it dries fast and has not molded or gotten smelly. It is so easy to use, and easy to move around. My only concern is that while it is easy to wash, I worry a bit about the actual bath pad and if I am cleaning it thoroughly. My one and a half month old is quite comfortable at bath-time and rarely complains about being in it.
