Picture quality is great, the features are great, i love the panoramic option, (but a clock on the parent unit would be helpful). Two things that annoy me: 1) it frequently drops the connection unless it's hooked up WIFI, and 2) I've been using mine for less than 6 months and I don't even get half a day charge out of the parent unit. The battery sucks and it always has to be plugged in, which in my opinion defeats the purpose of a portable parent unit. For the cost of this monitor I would expect better quality in terms of connection and the battery life of the parent unit. There are a couple little glitches that are annoying but not enough for me to want to return this unit. I Found the night vision quality really poor (I think it was after I turned the unit off and then back on again) but all I did was go into settings and turn the night vision off and then back on again. That did the trick! The other thing is the unit takes a good minute to power up (from being completely shut down) and the start up screen is very bright. If she&rsquo;s breathing is she ok is she getting into something and just wanting to know at all times what&rsquo;s going on. Now that I have this VTECH Digital video monitor with remote access in her room I have a better peace of mind. I can actually leave her in there and feel safe about her sleeping alone. This monitor is literally the best baby product I have come across yet. It has so many great features like, one being I can watch her from the 7&rdquo; remote screen, I can move around the camera to see every angle of the room, I can play melodies or white noise with these downloaded on to remote settings, the microphone on the camera is very convenient and clear I can talk to my baby to soothe her. My favorite feature of this monitor is my app that I can use off my phone when I am not home I can always see her and hear what&rsquo;s going on!
