My son naturally runs hot so it&rsquo;s great to have this when I feel in doubt. It is accurate you just need to make sure you aren&rsquo;t measuring from widely different distances. The instructions come with a picture of how far you should be from your child&rsquo;s forehead. I love that it comes with batteries. The results come out fast and is very accurate. The temperature display shows different colors to better understand the persons temperature. And the results only take seconds to measure. First this is super simple and easy to use! It feels good in the hands and feels like it is a very sturdy heavy duty product. As far as accuracy goes- it seems to read low. So i am not super sure how accurate it will be. But i love everything about this and i hope it becomes more accurate as time goes on. I love the fact that I can check my child&rsquo;s fever while she sleeps without having to touch her and wake her up!
