We rushed out and bought this pump so I could do a combination of formula and breastmilk in my baby's bottles - We chose it because we already had the Philips Avent Manual pump and a few bottles and nipples. I was able to get it up and running very quickly. It is tiny, extremely easy to use. I'd recommend it especially if you are sticking with other Philips Avent bottles. Keep in mind that you can only pump directly into plastic bottles, but it does come with two. I like that it automatically shuts off after 30 minutes (it's easy to lose track of time when you're tired). The instructions say to keep cellphones more than 12 &quot; away during use. I'd recommend buying a couple pumping bras right away for hands-free use, otherwise you have to hold each side in place. I did not experience any discomfort myself while using, but there are different suction levels so start low first to find what works for you. There are 5 parts to disassemble and clean for each side. I use the Phillips brush for cleaning and the Philips Avent Microwave Santizer for sterilizing. The instructions for the product were great too and there are easy-to-follow diagrams on how to assemble. I am very happy with this! I still find myself using the single manual pump sometimes and am happy to have that too (its quiet and you can walk around or sit outside). The &quot;adaptive flanges&quot; are trash and do not adapt at all. My nipples hurt while using this and there's no way to add flange inserts because why would they allow that.
