It is awesome! Very easy to put together. It definitely snaps on. If you don't here the click when you put the car seat on it then you've not assembled it correctly!!! I could lift the entire stroller by the car seat handle, that's how secure it is. I love how it doesn't sit low in the stroller. It's at a great height so baby can see me and her surroundings. The only thing is, if you have stroller canopy on, it does not snap so quickly without making sure canopy is completely closed. When installing it be sure to remember the directions show different ways for different brands. For Chicco the center bar comes out so it can be flat while rear facing. The reason I only gave it four stars is that they don't tell you that you can't open the canopy top on the stroller when the car seat is in, leaving my son exposed to the sun on walks. We use a blanket but it's an inconvenience. We also have a normal travel system which covers him completely.
