However, after putting these containers into dishwasher the first time, my whole house smells like plastic chemical labs. Horrible horrible odor!!!! Later we found out that one of the container lids fell off the rack and got stuck at the bottom of the dishwasher and melted during heating. Shouldn&rsquo;t have put in the dishwasher. The actual colors are much darker than in the photos but they still look okay to me. Only complain is that I wish they were less narrow, since I found it difficult to fill the containers without getting food outside. Also, they are kinda too tall to fit in my steamer. They keep everything cold, glass is thick and won&acirc;&euro;&trade;t break or chip easily (I&acirc;&euro;&trade;ve dropped them around the sink more than once..) and they&acirc;&euro;&trade;ve never leaked my strange protein shake / fruit smoothie creations going to lectures on campus. (I&acirc;&euro;&trade;m in medical school and have basically negative time or energy!) LOVE that they can go in the dishwasher! I&acirc;&euro;&trade;m a tad disappointed that the measurement text / marks smudge off even with hand washing, but that&acirc;&euro;&trade;s been my only complaint. Great that they are heat proof and freezer safe. Would love a wider range of baby safe glassware though.
