The stitching holding the fabric seat to the back had come apart and one of the straps attached to the back of the seat was detached (again stitching had let go). I contacted Customer Service by phone, explained the issue, sent MULTIPLE PHOTOS (twice), answered innumerable questions, responded/sent several e-mails, only to be told a new fabric seat would be sent but it was out of stock, back-ordered, and given no probable or possible date of availability for shipment. My great grand-daughter needs the chair NOW - she is 7 months old (she weighs 14 lbs). After all this I decided to look into the customer comments about the product and discovered there were MANY complaints about the very same issue (no wonder the replacement seats were out of stock!!!). To remove the seat fabric for maintenance: 1) Remove the straps and undo the 3 screws from the 2 armrests. 2) Release the 2 side panels from the snap buttons. 3) Undo all the D rings. 4) Pull the fabric up to take it off of the back rest.
