She is a very expressive child so the music was great for her. She was a little young for the shapes and numbers but she will learn. He enjoys musical toys with lights so this hit that mark. My little guys has loved how colorful, musical, melodic, and bright lighted this jam squad panda is. We love how its teaching him while he plays &amp; explores it. This panda was so much fun alone, but we went and purchased two more jam band animals for a whole other level of fun. The jam and count panda counts, sings and has a light that syncs with it during singing. My 8 month old enjoys the music the panda will play along with the little light on his microphone. It has a little ball that spins to change the songs and also sings numbers and colors.
