My son and his wife purchased a very similar one when they were pregnant. Car seats have improved greatly since I purchased the seat I used with my children in the 80’s.</span>

I will save the padding insert for another grand to use when they are babies. You just need to read directions to get the seat in safely. Once you do it makes the installation easy.</span>

I do think it should be made more clear when to use the foot extension. And I saw a reminder online about switching to the seat belt instead of anchors after 40 lbs. I'm not sure it says that on the side of the car seat</span>
