This didn&rsquo;t matter when my newborn was under 8lbs but has become a bigger issue as my son grows. It&rsquo;s y steady and shifts so the pad is not level and my son rolls to the side/middle of pack n play. Not the safest and definitely adds a new challenge while changing diapers. 2) anything baby related should be washable. The changing bad cover does not easily come off the frame, and the frame does not easily disassemble so washing the cover is near impossible. This is not ideal, especially with a little boy. (A little Velcro on the cover could solve this easily) 3) bassinet is really only suited for newborn size. Once he hits the 10-15 lb mark it will probably be too small (but still plenty of room in the pack n play). We kept it in our living room when she was a newborn for diaper changes and close naps to us in the newborn bassinet insert, and now she is using the infant crib in our room for night sleep.
