He liked the different texture between the soft top and smoother, harder bottom. It also helped him learn how to put it into the pots. Because of all the little pieces made it another thing that needs to have a spot to be kept away when not in use. I think there are better options than this. The cups stack when the cacti are not inside and let our toddler use her imagination while the different color and texture cacti let our baby explore his senses.
