Purchased at 1 week old and by the time she reached 6 weeks we moved with the pillow and it split down the middle. If I read the reviews I would have know this is a common issue with this specific pillow. Found the firmness good for my newborn. As she got older (5 months) I found I had to support her head under the pillow if she was napping in my arms. It is all one piece though (no cover) so when she spit up on it the whole thing had to go in the washing machine which was a pain as she would need to nurse again before the washing/ drying cycle was finished especially when I needed to stain treat spots before washing. At exactly 6 months the middle curved part of the pillow blew out at seam. Can&rsquo;t stitch it back together so we&rsquo;ll have to buy a new one.
