It had a small rope to it to pull the turtle. I would say it&rsquo;s better for babies not a. 3 yr old. Idk why I even claimed it. My son is two and a half, and while he still has some fun with this toy, I believe it would be best suited for toddlers aged one to two. I love that it has numbers on it because it helps reinforce counting, which we have been working on with my son. And since toddlers love to stack and build things, I&rsquo;m glad that this is a stacking toy as well. I like that each turtle is a different color. It makes the toy more fun to look at for the toddler and can help teach colors as well. It has a string attached to it, which my son loves to pull so he can easily take the toy around. This is a fun toy for little ones that is easily portable and doesn&rsquo;t take up a lot of space. He pretty much threw the turtles. I like the concept, but I don&rsquo;t think it&rsquo;s enough to keep him entertained. He likes the stacking rings much better.
