This light up ring catcher is super adorable. My 1 year old loved it for the tub and it kept him entertained. The colors change flawlessly and it seems to float really well also. He wasn't to sure about putting the rings on the octopus so he plays with those separately. One thing I wish is that it would stay lite up for a while longer. I love the water proof design, and how it automatically lights up when it touches water. The girls (age 1 and 4) think it's magic! The lights change color, and are bright enough to see without being too bright. It's fun to toss the rings onto the octopus tentacles as well. Being a mom to multiple children I wish that they had toys like this when I had my first child. Pros: the octopus lights up when its little metal sensors touch your infants bath water, which in return grasps your babies attention. The little rings are small enough for your baby to easily grasp but large enough that you don't have to worry about them getting stuck in their mouth. The bright colors are sure to grab their attention for a long period of time. Cons: my only worry is if water is able to get into the battery compartment over time and would this lead to the toy failing or mildew forming like rubber ducks sometimes get. I wish that it had some other shapes to the rings to further developmental milestones. Overall: I love this octopus and so does my infant. I would purchase this for my other mom friends because I guarantee their children would also love it. By far my favorite feature is that when the octopus lights up it changes colors.
