The design is very nice but I found many aspects that would prevent me from purchasing again. The seat was standard in terms on install. Making adjustments to the carseat were a challenge - could not easily move up the the headrest after determining it was too low, could not move the buckle position between legs without installing. Even uninstalling, it was very difficult to reposition the buckle. Cupholders are small but adequate. A learning curve is my daughter is used to using the cupholder to grasp to pull herself up into the car; these easily twist and have come off while she pulls herself up which we have to be careful to not cause her to fall. Lastly, I don't feel like I can pull as tight as I'd like and have difficulty unbuckling the bottom buckle. The convertible feature is our most favorite and it helped a lot when we transitioned to a forward facing car seat setup. The weight of the car seat is around 25lbs which is slightly on the heavier side but once it is installed in the car, it doesn't take up much room and we can easily squeeze in our son's car seat in there as well. This seat has been very cozy and comfortable for our baby girl and lives true to its name as part of the Maxi-Cosi brand. The style deserves 5 star easily, and the color is so elegant. The assembly was under 2 minutes, very easy and straightforward directions. The seatbelt mechanism needs a little improvement because it doesn't come out easily and the plastic clip on the seatbelt isn't as smooth as I'd like. If they improve those things this would be the best car seat in the market in every way. It definitely looks and feels like a luxury car seat- all the fabrics and materials are really nice. Install was easy with the auto-lock feature on the seat. However when installing for a forward facing child, it has some awkward recline rules. My son is 38 lbs, and under 40 pounds needs to be on recline 3. This is really reclined and barely fits in my car like this. My son is also not a huge fan of it being that reclined. Based on the manual rules once he hits 40 pounds he has to switch to recline 2. So this means I have to check his weight constantly to make sure the carseat is installed on the correct recline in case he has a growth spurt. It would be nice if there was some overlap allowed in the weight requirements of the two recline positions. I do really like how the strap covers keep the straps out of the way. This seat is incredibly soft and cool- highly recommend the sand color. It's gorgeous!! I would recommend this product for people with spacious cars because of its size the driver seat can't lean back too far so keep that in mind if you are taller. This seat is also very heavy so I wouldn't plan to move it from your vehicle much. The pros: She loves that it sits her up very high in the car and she &quot;can see everything&quot; as we drive. She says it's comfortable and cool on her back. We love that the harness doesn't get stuck behind her when she sits in it, so it's not a battle to get the straps out from behind her and under her bottom after she sits down. The cons: It's a little awkward for her because of the required recline angle so her legs kind of stick up in the air and make it hard to fit her behind the driver's side.
