We hired a nanny and wanted an option for a monitor that had a separate screen to use vs. using a phone or iPad so the nanny could use it. We moved the other monitor into our room for night time and have this monitor for his room during his naps. The main issue we have is that this monitor doesn&acirc;&euro;&trade;t have white noise :( we used this for every nap with the previous 360 monitor and now we had to buy a separate white noise machine. I&acirc;&euro;&trade;m hoping there&acirc;&euro;&trade;s a way for this to be updated with a software update! Overall, this monitor was easy to use and setup. After downloading the app, it gave simple instructions for connecting it to the wifi. The video quality is great. It seemed that the sound was a bit delayed, as I would always hear my baby crying well before hearing him through the monitor. The cry assist feature would analyze the baby's cry to tell you if he is hungry, tired, gassy, or just fussy. I found that it was usually accurate, but I only ever saw it say he was tired or hungry. I found the notifications to be overwhelming. As he continued to cry I would receive one notification after the other telling me that crying was detected. There is the option of using it without wifi so that would be my preference. The parent display was easy to use, but it would be nice if there were volume buttons instead of having to go into settings. I did not use the sound options that the monitor has because I have another sound machine in his room, but this is a nice option for travel and not having to pack a monitor and sound machine. The zoom and 360 viewing abilities are great for seeing the whole room and would be great for toddlers who are getting out of bed. I found the temperature and humidity settings helpful, as other monitors I have used did not have the humidity. The See Pro 360&deg; Baby Monitor is the first monitor my husband asked if we could buy more to have one in both of the rooms our children sleep in. I was impressed with how quickly I was able to set it up with both my phone and the separate parent monitor. The CryAssist feature was nice to be alerted on my phone when a child was napping. I didn't enjoy how overly sensitive it was. It would alert me to a child crying while the child was in the living room with me. I my phone during the day and used the parent monitor next to my bed at night. I was glad to have the parent monitor because I try not to use my phone at night. The parent monitor is easy to use, but doesn't have a way to turn it sleep mode you had to wait a minimum of 1 minute for the screen to go dark. Over all I would still like to add another one of these monitors to my home, because having such a clear picture when checking on my children is very important to me. I don't want to miss them needing me. The picture quality on both the physical screen and the app is great, and the zoom capabilities on the app are better than other monitors I've tried. It was so easy to set up, the Bluetooth pairing with the app via the provided pin was a little odd but easy to do with directions. Everything was clear and easy, a few features that could use more direction were how to mount better on a flat surface and turn off the bright LED light but once that was cleared up it all worked perfectly. Maxi-Cosi has outdone themselves with this amazing monitor. Not only is it easy to setup and use, but it is a built in nanny. The CryAssist feature was absolutely amazing. It was able to decipher my child's cries so we could quickly soothe her back to sleep with no extra effort from mom and dad. An amazing addition for the new parents still trying to navigate life with an infant. Having the physical monitor as well as the WiFi parent display was extra helpful for the exhausted parent that doesn't always remember to charge their phone. Other features I liked were the mount that allowed for a more favorable angle when setting it on a shelf vs. having to mount it on the wall, and the visual crying alert so that you know when your baby is crying, even if the sound is off. Although I didn't use the phone app, I like that it has the option to use that or the monitor. There were some features that I found less than desirable: There is a blue light that turns on, showing the camera has power, which was distracting for my baby when trying to sleep. This can be turned off but it was far from intuitive. Additionally, navigating the parent display can be challenging depending on what you are trying to do. I absolutely love it for my 3rd child. I have used two other brands in the past that I did not like. I love the parent screen that is clear, doesn't disconnect, and has many features. I also love that you can view the monitor from your phone while you are out and about or at work. It was so easy to set up, gives a clear picture in both day and night and you can view it at home or on the go. I have used it both baby's room and the play room for my older children. The baby cry notifications allow you to be notified when a cry is detected and I was able to quickly check my screen to make sure my child was being taken care of when I was out of the home. I have already recommended this monitor to friends! I did not utilize the AI technology as my child already sleeps through the night and I know his signals but I love that the family connect app has features to track feedings, diaper changes, diaries etc so only one app is needed for everything. This is a very capable, advanced monitor that's also easy to use and understand. The sound and video quality are excellent. The picture is clear and precise, and the sound is equally strong. The 360 degree view is convenient- I've used it to angle back and forth from my child's crib to the adjacent rocking chair to check on things while another caregiver is rocking him. The CryAssist feature has been nice to use; although I'm usually diligent to keep a constant watch on the monitor, the CryAssist has been nice to use when I'm unable to keep an eye on it (for instance, while playing with my other child). The parent display is easy to use and pretty self-explanatory. It offers lots of settings options, like temperature and humidity detectors which you can set and adjust yourself, movement detection, and songs/sounds to play for baby. The picture on the parent display is huge compared to most, which I really appreciate. The camera can focus in on baby at a close range, or see an entire room when placed correctly; this is especially nice when kids grow and can move more freely around the room. I love the ability to take photos and videos with use of a microSD card as well. The accompanying app takes the convenience of this monitor through the roof. This allows me to keep an eye on baby with my phone, and leave the parent display monitor for caregivers. This gives me peace of mind, and also means I'm never far from a device to keep an eye on my child. (I can also take cute sleeping baby screenshots with my phone!)
