<span itemprop="description">I have been using this baby monitor for about a year as it was given to me as a gift, and it has caused me nothing but stress. For one, every time I open the app, it takes an EXCESSIVE amount of time to load the video screen. And this doesn't happen just every once in a while, it happens almost every time I open the app to check on my daughter. I have good wifi in my house, so I know this is not the issue. I have had to re connect the video monitor way too many times. And when I do finally get the screen to load, it goes back to reconnecting after just a few minutes, or it will lag and freeze and then have to reconnect. Again, this happens almost every time. In the time it takes to load the main video screen, I could have just went and checked on my daughter myself. This monitor has caused me so much stress and frustration. For the price of this monitor I would expect it to work so much better. I would not recommend this monitor!!!!</span>

<span itemprop="description">Do NOT waste your money. We’ve had the cam for almost 2 years now. We’ve had constant connectivity issues with it since day one. We gave great internet throughout the house. No other wifi connected product we own has issues. I even purchased and set up a wifi extender, which seemed to mostly (but not always) solve the problem for a few months. Then, there was an update for the cam, and now we’re back to square one. Never seems to work when it’s needed. Super unhappy with this product. I will not be using this product for my next child.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I don’t know if this is the camera or the app that’s the problem. But I swear it knows when something is out of the ordinary or when my baby is sick. It always works when it’s a normal night. But as soon as something happens or she is sick and I want to pay more attention the stupid thing says offline cannot display video. I’ve had it for over 2 years, the sock was fine. The camera I have struggled with since day one. The app needs some serious work. I used to swear by owlet but I don’t think I’ll be using them for my next baby. Very frustrated.</span>

When you need it to work it doesn’t. When it does work there’s about a 20 second delay. Motion sensor works for you going in the room but not baby moving. Ove upgraded my internet speed to see if that was the problem and no change.</span>

I have reached out to customer service & they tell me it’s a problem with my wifi. Meanwhile I’ve lived in two different homes with this camera & never had an issue with other devices on wifi. This product is so terrible I cannot wait to get something new for my next child. I would NEVER recommend.</span>

I’d just rather use our cheap one that I know actually works.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Just received. Did not buy refurbished but think that's what I received. Black screen has little scratches all over. The sticker over the lens left a residue that is really hard to remove.
No Idea if it works because when I got the app and tried to sign up it said it sent a verification email. Never received. Yes I checked spam. Try to get it to resend and says wait at least a minute. It has been saying that for almost an hour.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Selecting a baby monitor as a new mom is a BIG deal. I was really hopefully with the Owlet, as it checked a lot of boxes for us. I liked being able to have the monitor on my phone to check in on my baby. We didn’t have many issues at first as my son slept in our room with us so we didn’t need to use the monitor much. Once he transitioned to his bedroom, we started realizing there were tons of technology and connection problems. Many times the camera would be connected and then sudden loose connection. I would wake up to find that the background sound feature on my phone wasn’t working and my baby screaming in the room next door. The video would glitch or be incredibly delayed. To get the app to connect to the camera I have to turn my phone completely off then back on, reload the app, and sometimes that doesn’t work so I just Have to wait it out until it decides to work. It’s unreliable and I would not recommend this to any new moms.</span>

Fast forward to 2022, had my 2nd child and hunted down the newest but discontinued owlet sock before stores sold out and absolutely love it and decided to get the camera too. The camera has been so disappointing. I don’t feel comfortable leaving my baby in the room and relying on the camera. There have been times where I heard him cry and I took him from his room and the camera would still show him in his bed sleeping FOR HOURS when he wasn’t there. I reset the camera, talked to customer service. Nothing came of it. Now have a camera I can’t use and owlet says they can’t replace even though under warranty</span>

<span itemprop="description">This product is trash. Video feed constantly cuts out or freezes or goes offline. You have to force close the app and reopen and rinse and repeat. Microphone barely ever works without freezing the feed. Theres about a 4/5 second delay which isnt a big deal except for the fact that if youre lucky enough for it to unfreeze on its own without force closing the app, itll them jusf be that much more delayed</span>

We truly keep it just because was expensive and we can not afford to buy something else. <span itemprop="description">We had the sock which we used because we bed shared (bad I know). I got the camera to put him in his own room and I’m impressed. My husband sleeps with the live video running on his phone through out the night. You can set the sensitivity of the noise and motion which is great. I love this thing and will be using owlet for our future children!</span>

<span itemprop="description">The owlet camera is so easy to set up and relocate into whatever room our son is in. It is a clear picture and easy to adjust the angle of the view. It is a great camera for a first mom like me, because I can literally see his breaths. I also love that it tells you the temperature of the room, and that it plays like a sound speaker even if you are on a different app in your phone. I would recommend this to anyone! It partners great with the Owlet sock.

<span itemprop="description">Pour 200$ je déconseille cette camera. Il y a toujours un bogue et un délai entre les mouvements et son de mon bébé, elle n’enregistre pas les séquences et on ne peut pas bouger la caméra à distance.
l’application doit toujours être ouvert sur mon cellulaire ou ipad pour voir mon bébé. Donc pendant ce temps on ne peut pas utiliser notre cellulaire pour d’autre chose. Par contre, vous êtes capable d’entendre votre bébé quand même. Des fois le son disparaît si l’application est pas ouverte donc il faut re ouvrir pour ravoir un son.
Personnellement je déconseille pour le prix que sa coute ça ne vaux ps la peine. En plus pour que vous aillez toutes les fonctionnalités il faut acheter en surplus un bracelet pour avoir accès à toutes les fonctionnalités.</span>

I have found that my baby moves his legs well before he wakes and cries so a video monitor is great. This was easy to set up, but sometimes loses connection and has to be reconnected. I love that I can use my cell phone and the power cord is really long, but it does drain your battery. I ended up getting a cheap audio cam to use when my phone battery is low.</span>
