Philips Avent SCF358/00 Fast Baby Bottle Warmer is a safe and easy way to make mealtime more comfortable for baby. It gently heats a 5 ounce bottle in as few as 3 minutes. It circulates milk during warming, so unlike a microwave, it won't cause hot spots. The warmer can also be used to defrost frozen breast milk and baby food. It is compatible with all Philips Avent bottles, bottles from most other leading brands, and baby food jars. The Philips Avent Fast Baby Bottle Warmer allows you to set it and forget it! Sensors auto adjust the heating pattern for different milk volumes and starting temperatures, so it hits the right temperature every time with the push of a button. It also keeps milk warmed to the desired temperature for up to 60 minutes. After 60 minutes it automatically shuts off to prevent overheating. The front panel is intuitive and easy to read with clear guidance on setting by milk volume for accurate results. A progress light lights up in three segments, indicating the warming progress and when milk is ready. The warmer is compact so it's easy to store on a kitchen counter or bedside table for nighttime feedings. Always test milk or food temperature before giving to babies.
Warms up to 5 ounces of milk in as few as 3 minutes Heats gently and evenly; no hot spots as the milk circulates during warming Works with all Philips Avent bottles and bottles from most other leading brands, as well as baby food jars Convenient defrost setting defrosts breast milk and baby food Small design fits on counter or nightstand

Every single time the Philips Advent has over-heated the milk until the point of damaging it (over 115F - meant to be at around 98F) resulting in a perfectly good batch having to be binned and my poor wife having to wake up. Even when setting to a lower volume it still over heats. I will be putting this product in the bin along with the wasted milk. Avoid!!!

We’ve used this bottle warmer( it doesn’t warm bottles) for a little over 2 months. I’ve gone round and round with this bottle warmer, read the instructions multiple times and nothing seems to work. It takes way too long to “warm” a bottle and when the time goes off it might be on the cool side of room temperature. This is incredibly infuriating when your child is screaming for their bottle at 3am and it takes what feels like 20 minutes to get a cold bottle. Don’t waste your time, money or sanity on this product.

Not worth your money
I've been using this warmer since my son was ~4 months old. When used as directed, it overheated the milk WAY beyond the recommended limit of 104 F. I just did a test with a 6-oz bottle of ice-cold water and it heated it to a whopping 126 F(!). I'm reluctantly giving 2 stars because it worked well enough once I started only using the 1oz or 2oz setting regardless of bottle size, but only after accidentally overheating countless bottles when using the "correct" setting.
It's been a number of months since I first became aware of this issue (I'm just now writing the review because motherhood) so I tested it again. I filled a Dr. Brown's narrow-neck glass 8-oz bottle with 6 oz of water, chilled with ice to 44 F. I set the warmer to the 6-oz setting and filled it all the way to the top with water because the "milk" (water) in the bottle was above the top of the warmer, then turned it on. At one point during the heating process, the water was actually starting to boil so I knew this wasn't going to go well. As soon as the light stopped blinking, I immediately removed the bottle and measured the temperature. As mentioned above, the water inside the bottle measured 126 F -- 22 degrees above the level at which nutrients supposedly start to break down. I don't know if water and milk heat differently, but I do know this is consistent with the experience I had with milk.
I'm beyond upset about the number of times I may have destroyed nutrients in the breastmilk I worked so hard for. What makes it extra disappointing is that I specifically sprang for this model because it claimed to have a temperature sensor and I really wanted to avoid overheating the milk. If I could do it over again, I would save my money and buy a cheaper model and just test carefully the first few times I used it.
I've attached photos showing the bottle contents and temperature before and after. I would expect much better from the brand and price point.

Hi, your product is a piece of junk with horrible instructions and no clear indicator of whether it's working or not. Something that should be the simplest of items to operate is something that instead makes my blood pressure skyrocket. It would be nice if just once the instructions were written by someone who has seen or used the product in any capacity. Instead it seems like they are made by someone from another planet. Some sort of beep or click or sound to indicate the machine is working would go a long way in making this a better product. Consider me thoroughly agitated and disappointed.
