I like that they are strong and durable without being overly bulky. I have a 2 year boy so having more peace of mind about him being unable to access spray cleaners, etc that are typically kept under the sinks is a great feeling. I would certainly recommend these and would buy them if I needed more. Note: My bathroom cabinet knobs were smaller than my kitchen knobs. At first I thought that the slide lock wasn't going to work for them, but once I adjusted it tighter I realized it would work just fine. It's also secure, my toddler seems like she can get into almost anything but this one she hasn't been able to figure out. It's safe, there is no danger of her getting her fingers or hands stuck. Why did it take me 5 years to try it out? It's so simple and doesn't require any gluing or drilling. My kids (5 and 1) can't get into the cabinets I put this on. I love how effective it is. It is easy to install and easy for me to open. I would absolutely recommend this for cabinets that will be opened often. Unfortunately with this product , it was about 1 inch too short from locking shut with our kitchen cabinets and bathroom ones as well . The construction of the cabinet locks are made very well in my opinion and I believe anyone can figure out very quickly how to operate them even without their easy to explain instruction manual . We've used some other child safety stuff before, but it was mostly way more difficult to install and left permanent marks on the cabinets.
