The instructions are ok but not great. The biggest problem is that the toilet cover clamp can only fit if the underside of your cover is relatively flat AND, something that is not explained in the instructions, thick. Your toilet seat cover needs to be about .5 in (maybe slightly less will do) total thickness at the point of attachment or the lower side of the seat clamp will not attach! This will render the whole arrangement ineffective. I'd love to return it but my partner somehow managed to throw away the receipt already.
