<span itemprop="description">This gate only works if you manage to get everything perfectly aligned. Following the instructions results in a latch that will not open or will not lock. Unbelievably frustrating. We'll be taking ours back and getting something that operates properly.</span>

<span itemprop="description">We switched out our previous baby gate with this one and wow! What a difference. We placed it at the top of the stairs to our basement which we always forget to close but not with this gate. It automatically closes, so when I have things in my hands I can hear it shut on its own behind me. The worst feeling is not remembering if you closed a gate and thinking your kid is going to come tumbling down. We really like this gate, it was easy to put up and our almost 2yr old has not figured out how to open it.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I use this gate for my toddler and my dogs . I bought 2 over 2 years ago and they were fine . Had to replace them recently and the auto close is great but the latch sticks and is loud and wake our toddler. You need to put a lot of pressure to open which causes it to be loud . Emailed customer care waiting to hear back from them . Might have to return them if the latch problem can't be fixed</span>

<span itemprop="description">We have 2 of these gates and are probably going to get a couple more. These are great for the top of the stairs and for rooms where a lot of time is spent. The walk through aspect of it makes it very convenient especially in high traffic rooms. These gates were very easy to install and adjust to the dimension of the hallways/doorways. They come with adapters for the different size openings. It was very easy to place in the doorway and uses more than enough tension to make it so it cannot be easily pushed over. I do not have any issues that would be described as a con with this product. All in all definitely a great product.</span>

<span itemprop="description">It's definitely sturdy but it is too hard to unlatch. We have it at the top of our stairs so we have to go through it several times a day. After a day, the joints in your hand hurt after needing to use so much hand strength to open the latch. I am due with my 2nd baby and don't think we will be able to keep the gate there because I won't be able to open it one handed.</span>
