It's light, sturdy, and travels easily. Set up is super simple and took less than 2 minutes, you simply snap the legs and canopy into place and you are ready to go! Traveling will be so much easier with this over a traditional bassinet or even a pack and play because of the size and weight. The material is well made and it has the look of an expensive bassinet without the high price tag! In addition to travel, it will be nice to have a place for baby outside that you know is safe and comfortable for when the older kids are playing! One of my favorite things about this bassinet is that the bug screen is attached and simply unzips. It makes it so much easier than having to remember to bring an extra item with you. It's worked out great and he sleeps well in it. I like that I can see through the mesh if he's fussing a little to see if he's ok. It's lightweight and easy to move which is convenient. My only complaints are it's low to the ground (I found most bassinets are like this) and I had a c section so bending that far to pick him up is painful. Also, there are not extra covers for the pad. I wanted to purchase extra because he has spit up or we've had a diaper malfunction and he's been wet with pee. We absolutely LOVE the Safety 1st Nap and Go bassinet! My baby sleeps in it easily, so we've had no issues from going from home to away. I love how it folds up for storage and travel, so it's easy to store when not in use or to throw in the back of our mini van. The bug net is perfect for our camping adventures. There really aren't many cons to this product, but if I had to pick one, I'd say that it took a little maneuvering for me to figure out how to close up the bassinet for storage the first couple of times. Even with the directions, I had to jiggle it a few times before it folded. Not a huge issue at all though. It was on my short list, for a number of reasons. Now that I have it, I love it even more. The bassinet is honestly a convenient height. It's about level with my bed and couch, so I don't have to stand up to peek at baby. The legs have a setting to lock in place or to rock. Huge fan. The mesh sides are great too for air flow, which is nice because I keep a warm house. The little pad in the sleeper is removable. That means washable. Win! You can also (with dr guidance) put a wedge under for a colicky or baby with reflux. Size wise, it's nice. I have BIG babies and long too, so the space was a huge plus. This product honestly was a PERFECT option, for the parents who were wanting that one recalled item. It filled the void seamlessly, and it went above and beyond, with safety and comfort. The bassinet comes with an attachable sunshade and net, and super convenient carrying case. It's lightweight, and fits about anywhere. That being said, standard size sheets don't work with it, the mattress pad is long and not sturdy so it just folds with sheets on it. When I contacted customer service about this, they recommended that sheets not be used and that the baby sleeps on the bare mattress. I don't like the idea of this because if the baby has a blowout and the mattress pad gets wet, then they have no choice but to sleep on a wet mattress.
