The handle is quite large and took some adjustment to get used to, but after using it a few times I am quite impressed. My boys generally let me clip their nails while watching tv, but this does not mean they are sitting still! The large grip of the clippers makes it easier as I am no longer fumbling with the tiny clippers we are used to. The Steady Grip nail clippers are strong and clip through nails easily, even my own...they are much easier to use when clipping with my non-dominant hand. Kids are fidgety and generally don't like their hand or foot being held in the same position. These made it so easy to keep a steady grip and they're small enough that I know I won't accidentally touch a finger or a toe.
