Then because the pad is super soft, when he gets tired he goes right to sleep. This is strong and sturdy and because is wood it makes it organic and easy to clean. I like the progression of the numbers to let you know how he is recognizing and learning. Compared to the other similar toys like this that is plastic and holds a bunch of germs I will choose this one each time. I would buy this over any thing fisher price offers that is similar.</span>
