I was wrong! I use this thing so often! We have taken it out in the car so much I just keep it there now. It folds up and has a handy button and carrying handle. Folds up pretty small for how large this is. It is big enough that baby can play with myself and big brother all on the mat. The built in mirror and &quot;toys&quot; make this mat interactive too. It is padded so the little falls and ground under the mat are barely noticeable. I love it! I have recommended my mom friends get this mat for their littles. I see it being useful through toddler years as well. Just can't say enough about this mat. The mat is great for tummy time and if you have any spills (spit-up) it absorbs leaving a quick and easy clean-up! Baby loves playing with the fox's tail, the mirror, and the felt cloud! We love being able to move the playmat around our home (it's super light). My only con is that while it's great that it's light to pick up and move around, I wish it had a little more padding. It's a large mat so it covers a good amount of space somewhere to a small area rug. I suspect it's around a 4x6. It got a lot of padding so it's nice on hardwood floors. My son like playing with the tether toy and the mirror. It will be appropriate for babies getting tummy time and older. There's just so much potential packed into this little mat and I love that they have so much intention with design behind each square. Everything you need to entertain is all in one.
