Nothing like having your child trying to drink with no luck and getting upset once you realize the straw has fallen off and have to fight to reattach it several times a day. When I opened the package it was an absolutely adorable cup. It was really easy for Cade to hold and drink out of and he enjoyed using it. However, washing and re-assembling this cup is nearly impossible for me. While I was struggling to get the plastic seal back into the lid to prevent leaks, Cade was screaming for water at my feet for at least 5 minutes. I finally got the cup reassembled and gave him his water. No more than 5 minutes later I discovered an empty cup sitting in a puddle of water. He has been using it for a few weeks and really likes it. Limited spills and helping him learn how to use a sippy cup. The design is a little funky though - looks like a ripoff Snoopy. My grandson in 9 months old and he was able to use this cup by himself easily. I like giving him this much more than a bottle. He's able to hold it and easily drink through the straw. Even when he tips it, it hasn't ever leaked. It's easy to wash and very durable. He has dropped it pretty hard from his high chair and it has stayed fully intact. I wash it by hand (don't have a dishwasher) and the decal has not faded or anything and it's been washed over a dozen times. Definitely would buy more of these. They are a nice cup to transition them from the bottle to a cup and he loves to hold it himself.
