I have cleaned it, we use Ubbi brand bags AND even the ubbi brand scent absorbers. The pail is closed tightly &amp; it smells up the nursery. I have cleaned it multiple times without any luck. I took it apart and I believe the smell is imbedded in the rubber seal. However, as time has gone on, the diaper pail has started to REEK. Every time we open it the room fills with the scent of old poop. We tried to deep clean all of the parts with bleach etc, and discovered that the main issue is that the plastic seal takes on the smell of the diapers&hellip;permanently. My son is 15 months now but we&rsquo;ve been dealing with this issue for at least the last 6. This product is not made to last.
