We may collect and use information including your assigned User ID or Advertising ID (see Automatic Information Collection above) to determine that two or more browsers and/or applications/devices, are used, or are likely used, by the same user (“Cross-Device Linking”). For example, we may associate the data on your use of your laptop with your use of your mobile phone or other devices you use, so that we can better serve advertising on both your laptop and mobile phone, and better assess the effectiveness of our advertisements. If you opt out of Google Analytics, you will also opt-out of our use of Cross Device Linking. Please note that you must opt out on each device you wish to opt-out in respect of. Google offers an opt-out mechanism here Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on

We may work with third party service providers who assist us in carrying out these purposes. For example, we work with Criteo to help us serve advertising on our site, and to determine whether you make a purchase after viewing an advertisement. Criteo also assists us with serving advertising that is appropriate based on the portions of our website that you are viewing. For example, if you are visiting the babies section of the website, you may see advertising for products intended for babies. Some advertisers may pay to have their products provided with more prominence in this manner. For more information about Criteo and to opt-out of certain Criteo tracking practices and Cross-Device Linking, visit the Criteo privacy policy at: Criteo, and the Criteo opt-out tool Criteo Opt Out.

We do not have access to, or control over, cookies or other features that advertisers and third party sites may use, and the information practices of these advertisers and third party websites are not covered by our Privacy Policy. Please contact them directly for more information about their privacy practices.

You can also generally opt-out of receiving personalized ads from third party advertisers and ad networks who are members of the Digital Advertising Alliance of Canada ("DAAC"). Please visit the DAAC opt-out page DAAC Ad Opt Out for more information.
