The interior braces are so tight it takes two hands to get anything in or out, and anything with a container weaker than a pop can probably wouldn't survive (significantly dented can when used). If I can't use it for an as-purchased plastic-cup iced coffee and I have to stop and wrestle with it even to get out a stronger from-home container, I'd rather just use something with a screw-top and toss it in the cargo pocket --it'd be faster.
